Thoughts
Dear Alan
Although our friendship was only for a short time, I felt it I got to know you well, we laughed and we cried together, many times, whilst trying to complete the many crosswords we did together which lead us down many paths of memories and thoughts.
Thank you for our time together, which I shall remember as joyful and happy despite the pain that you so bravely endured and always with your cheeky smile.

Although I didn’t know you very well, the time I spend with you and saw of you was lovely. I remember your smile at Christmas and how you always seemed so happy and joyful.
